Hi Sapho, Thank you for stopping by to read my blog and for your beautiful comment! It's interesting that sometimes, when we get caught up in the "material" or "surface" world, we sometimes have to leave it in order to heal. I call that "cocooning."

This is an amazing time of learning with is important to us from our hearts, instead of listening to others for our identity. Just like the caterpillar, we emerge from the cocoon as stong, beautiful butterflies taking flight. We are beautiful because of who we are inside and how strong we feel from the inside out!

It sounds to me like you are already questioning what is out there and thinking for yourself! Bravo -- make your own rules to live by!

With love,
Heather

hi heather

i am so grateful to u for ur nice , inspiring words , u really have no idea how much they impacted me , i kept reading them over and over to fully absorb what u wrote and they gave me a great insight and a new method of approching things , yes u r right why would we subject ourselves to things that r incongruent with our goal of recovering and which significantly undo all our work of considering a totally neglected aspect of beauty , sadly societies present this in a mould that subtly invite us to either ridicule it or undermine it by implying this message " if u r a good looking then u r worthy and if u r not then u r not" so cruel but so true that's why i battled this debilitating disease for along time and i can confidently say that u can perfectly beat it up by designing ur environment in a way that u can't with it help but successed ..

Hi Emily, thank you for your beautiful words -- how nice to find them first thing in the morning! I can tell that positive thinking is part of your life because of how you write your blog, which is why I like reading it as well!

I agree that it is that Law of Attraction that allowed us to find each other -- and this growing community of readers! It's very heart-warming -- and certainly creates positive "vibes!"

With love,

I loved your post, Heather!

When I was 18 years old, someone gave me the book "Being Happy" by Andrew Matthews. It was the first in a long line of books that taught me about the power of affirmations and positive thinking. Whenever I read such books and apply the concepts, I notice how everything in my life just kind of seems to fall into place. I feel connected, centered, and I trust that the universe will always take care of me and that I will always be exactly where I need to be, surrounded by the exact people whose presence will most inspire me at that very moment.

When I first discovered this way of thinking and approaching life, I thought I'd figured out how to always be happy. What I hadn't realized was that being happy and thinking positively required constant screening of our thoughts and attitudes. You need to keep working at maintaining the right attitude all the time! At times, I find myself slipping back into old self-defeating thought patterns. Then I feel off-center, and things are bound to go wrong in my life. This is when I usually dig out some of my favorite inspirational books to get myself back on the right track! Reading your post, these were all concepts that I learned a long time ago, but it's always so good to be reminded! We forget!

So thank you! Thank you for reminding me, inspiring me, and challenging me to be the best and happiest person I can possibly be! I feel so blessed to be surrounded by people like you in my life! And thank you for coming into my life at the exact time I needed your support and guidance. I don't believe this is coincidence. I believe it's the Law of Attraction at work! :-)

with love and gratitude,
