Uplifting Movies – Light , Love , Inner Guidance

Filed under: Healing The Spirit — Heather @ 3:55 pm

This movie is a quick, feel-good, uplifting short movie by coach, Mary Robinson Reynolds. I really like her work because she focuses on your power to create what you want in your life by being who you are and shining your light “in the spirit of peace and love.”

Another of my favorites is her inner guidance movie, which reminds us all to follow our hearts:
Inner Guidance Movie

I like the movies that don’t have voice, since there is something about reading the words — at your own pace — to the music that is very comforting. I always find that I feel calm, peaceful and open after watching these movies.

See how you feel after watching these movies. If you like them, you might like her other short movies:

Thanksgiving Movie

Emily made a comment in my book review of Body & Soul about how difficult it is to really get anything from self-help books when we are still stuck in the dark hole of our addiction. I agree. Getting out of the dark hole can feel impossible and cause us to feel hopeless. Some of the things that really helped me were reading and being exposed to uplifting books and movies, like these. They aren’t focused on addiction at all, but on the healing power of spirit that resides in all of us. They speak to a part of us that knows truth, even if we feel lost and closed.

Whether you imagine shining your light whenever you are feeling in a dark place, or breathe in joy — or any other mind, body or spirit action — just one action can be the first step. Just one baby step every day.

I hope you enjoy these movies as much as I have!

  3. Thank you for the movies, Heather! I had seen the Inner Guidance movie before, and, in fact, had posted some words from it on my blog that had particularly touched at that time. They were the words
    know what you know
    feel what you feel
    desire what you desire

It’s always good to be reminded!

    love,
    Emily

  4. Hi Emily, I agree that it’s so helpful to be reminded — sometimes, it’s easy to forget, isn’t it? Mostly when the messages we get in daily life are about lack and fear, rather than trust and our true essence. It’s great that you also serve as a reminder to us by putting these words on your blog!

    With love,
    Heather
