Hi Karen, thank you so much for your beautiful words -- I really appreciate it. I have been so amazed by everyone I have met and corresponded with since starting this blog. It is by connecting together that we can realize we are not alone. You are a very special person and I so enjoy talking with you -- you have a light inside you -- I can hear it in your voice and see it in your enthusiasm as you write.

I am blessed to walk along this path with you!

With love,
Heather

Heather You were so writing about me
I have been working so hard to be in the now
I recalll when my daughter was young I was there physically but not mentally I was all over the board Mostly with the anorexia but always somewherre in the past or future worrying blaming crying punishing myself-- so filled with fear that Rachel had to take a backseat to my life And then eveerything came to a screeching halt whne I had my breakdown and was hospitalized. In years sind=ce I have still been punishing myself for not being there for her But I am so blessed that somehow by the grace of God she has turned out to be a wonderful successful happy young woman

In 2001 I was preparing for a trip to Europe with a friend in Jan 2002. I worked so hard iwth my therapist to make that journey a success and to alwasy focus on the now and to never missa second of the trip I kept a very complete journal and I fully enjoyed my trip seing breathing tasting feeling every second of it.
Everyone kept saying Are you afraid to travel because of 9/11. I said I was only scared that my disease would take over and I wouldnt get to really be on my trip. But that didnt happen.
I have never been in the moment again like I was on that trip 4 years ago.
But so much has happend in thiese past 4 years with my back and my IBS and bladder. Situations beyond my contro, Moments filled with fear and pain.
Nut since I have met you and have ben reading your blog I know I am headed in the right direction
I promise you that I will breing myself back to health and to living in the now and live each day one day at a time
Thank you for everything Heather You are truly a blessing when I really needed it
Much love
