As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am starting a free coaching group for readers of my blog. So far, it has been a pleasure to read your comments, e-mails — and talk with some of you by phone. I am certain that we will create a fun & safe space, where the group can take a mind-body-spirit approach to recovery.

About the Coaching Group
I will select 6 – 8 people for this initial coaching group. My goal is to select a group that has similar recovery goals, so that we can progress at a pace that works for each participant. All applications will be kept on file for future coaching groups or services that I’d like to offer to my blog readers.

Meetings
We will likely meet for 1 hour, once per week, by phone. I will set up a conference call number and send meeting invites via e-mail each week. I will also open a forum (online bulletin board), where we can post action items, ideas, inspiration and general Q&A. This will allow us to keep in touch with and support each other between calls.

What Will We Do?

  • We will learn how to use our minds to create what we want in our lives.
  • We will create a vision of our ideal life.
  • We will balance our lifestyles and learn to make choices that support our health & wellbeing.
  • We will learn healthy eating options to repair our bodies from disordered eating.
  • We will support one another in our goals.
  • We will have action items to experiment with in our daily lives.
  • We will follow many of the mind-body-spirit exercises I have in my free Actions for Recovery workbook – and more!
  • We will have fun!

Length The Group Will Be Together
I have targeted the group for between 3 – 6 months. I have seen amazing changes happen in my client’s lives in just 3 months. If we decide as a group to continue, we have the option of extending to 6 months.

How Do I Apply?

  • Submit your application by Thursday, May 25th, 2006 (you can also click on “free coaching group” on the right hand navigation area to get the application).
  • e-mail your completed application to me — all responses will be kept confidential.
  • I will review them and let you know if you have been selected.

When Does The Group Start?
I have targeted the middle of June for the group to start, most likely the week of June 19th. I will provide specific details once I receive your applications and have selected the group.

I am very excited to be working with some of you on this recovery journey!
